Hi Sophie,
for some reason I had a urge to check what you are writing these days. I related to everything you wrote about, the light, the power of women, the corruption, the hurts of the world. Your thoughts, words and how you express them are so beautiful and right on!
I hope you and Isaac are doing well in marriage bliss.
Warm regards,
Debbie

Love is an intense and complex emotion and your words have given me solace. To think that a year from now I could too be in a different place with a different partner is as exciting and frightening as a meteor shower must have been for our prehistoric counterparts.

I love it when he said: "you don’t need any other substances other than “IT""! And 'storyteller', do people even use the word anymore? The fact that he connected the impressionists to filmmakers has got me thinking, what's next beyond cinema? So we have painting, photography and then cinema and now 3D cinema is somewhat a transition phase...would the next step well into the future be interactive cinema? This would involve the audience from being passive consumer of moving images to more active ones (like hyper narrative interactive cinema but better from all 360 degrees). It might be as close as we can get to time travelling in the near future :)

Hi DJ, yes! We always choose whether to do something or not. No one else is driving the car but you. I found the most powerful practice is to consciously choose what you resist the most; to see how choosing it creates so much room in your life. It also brings up the feeling that perhaps we chose certain people, habits, challenges and obstacles before we came into this lifetime so that we could grow. At one stage I declared to my husband that 'I choose procrastination.' It was so powerful! For whatever reason, that statement allowed me to see that I needed to 'resist' something for a time in order to receive something else coming in. Great stuff. Thanks for your comment!
