LOVER'S HARVEST

I recently worked with Australian clothing label, LOVER, on a short film called “The Harvest,” starring Aussie actress Sophie Lowe, now in cinemas everywhere, I mean – on their website, and above! I am so very very proud!! Thank you so much Alice Wesley-Smith and Kasia Werstak at The Aeon for contacting me, as well as Susien Chong and Nic Briand of LOVER. This has been such an honour, and I am so proud of everyone who assisted in the creation of this work. It is glorious, gorgeous, as I always suspected it would irreversibly be.

This is what I’ve learnt about Lover: Susien and Nic started their label as a small Sydney market stall during the weekends of 2001, and have since taken the brand to the rockets in the skies: “garnering praise from Vogue to Vice magazine,” plus coverage in UK Vogue, Teen Vogue, Nylon, Jane, Dazed & Confused, WWD, Harpers Bazaar, Rolling Stone, Yen, Pavement and Lula.

International fans include Australian actress Sophie Lowe – who stars and narrates Sophie-Ward-Words in The Harvest, above – as well as Joanna Newsom, Alexa Chung, Kirsten Dunst, Kiera Knightley and Michelle Williams.

Thank you guys, this is a supremely delightful experience to have witnessed during my lifetime.  I am deeply honoured.

    Nature is so beautiful, Sophie.
Difficult to express it with simple words, but you, indeed, you have a special „Gift“… the gift of purely inside simplicity of words unfolded from the heart.
The metaphoric signification of “Harvest” is very much used into poetry and prose!
And into philosophy the little seed bring the humankind into the folly significant of “Beauty save the Word” :-)
In the short movie, at the first glance, I thought of myself… alike many years ago, thus this is still the style of clothing I love: simple, fresh and romantic. Beautifully worn by this lovely actress. Alike the images of David Hamilton… did you ever see them?

Even the music is the right embellishment of images and words.
My congratulations, then… with the top of my fingers, now, I wish I could express it better…

As for the clothes It’s a pity we don’t have this brand sold in Switzerland… but I’ll look forward, maybe with little chance… who knows, Sophie, most of the time dreams and desires became true…

As I promised you, I was trying to translate a couple of my short novels…I’m very sorry Sophie, but I gave up. I need to find someone who does this professionally or it won’t be the same result my work was a disaster. I have to discuss again this matter with my editor but you need at least to sell 10 thousands book before they think about translating into other languages… how mean…
Will see how is going to sell the new one :-)
Thank you to share with us this small jewel!
Love, I’ll keep in touch with you hopefully soon!
